About Sarah Mayland &
Inside Out Transformations

Sarah Mayland, MS, LAPC, NCC, CPT, FNS, CPPC, RMT

I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are healing from trauma inflicted by narcissistic parents or partners. Having a lifetime of personal experience navigating and recovering from relationships with narcissists, in addition to my clinical training and experience, I offer my clients deep emotional support as well as practical strategies they can use to navigate and heal from abusive relationship dynamics.

In addition to narcissistic trauma, I have also worked with clients struggling with: anxiety, ADHD, body image concerns, disordered eating, grief, substance abuse, life transitions, healthy habits, relationship issues, codependency, and spiritual concerns. I use an approach that pulls from multiple modalities such as: psychodynamic, existential, solution-focused, and Jungian therapies, as well as CBT, REBT, DBT, and IFS.

I am passionate about working with individuals and couples who are ready and excited to close out trauma cycles, and who are serious about actively using the skills and tools they learn in therapy in their daily life. If you have grown up with a narcissistic parent, are currently in an abusive relationship with a narcissist, or you find that the trauma caused by your parents or past relationships are impacting the health of your current relationships, I am excited to work with you!

Inside Out Transformations

Inside Out Transformation began in 2019 as an integrative and holistic coaching practice that combined fitness, nutrition, and mental health to support clients on their weight loss journey in a safe and sustainable way. Over the years, the work of Inside Out Transformations has grown deeper and deeper, evolving to a focus on habit formation and addressing the underlying issues that get in the way of consistency, and then evolving to healing the limiting and often destructive mindsets that can draw people into the work of transformation. Now, IOT focuses on fitness and nutrition as integral parts of self-care and incorporates metaphysical and spiritual approaches to support clients’ development - mind, body, and spirit.
